RSVP by 10/29 for Framingham Tree Lighting on Dec. 12

The Framingham Tree Lighting is planned for Friday, Dec. 12 at about 6 p.m.
Girl Scouts typically do a holiday sing-a-long on the steps of Town Hall awaiting the arrival of Santa. Afterwards, the girls can head inside for hot cocoa, cookies, and to listen to the all-elementary school band, among other activities.
.
I know this seems very early, but the Framingham Service Unit for Girl Scouts needs to give an estimated count to the town next week.
We would like to make this a family event. The girls can stand on the steps singing with their fellow Brownie troop members with the rest of the Girl Scouts from Framingham, but as the event is popular and crowded, we would prefer that each girl attend with a guardian or a parent.
Last year, Kelly & Bella from Troop 2082 participated.
Girls who sing can earn a participation patch (for the back of their vest.)
.
The deadline to let a leader know your daughter's intent to participate is:
Wednesday, Oct. 29 by 7 p.m.
.
It's okay if your daughter changes her mind -- to go or not to go -- or if another family obligation comes up, we just wish to give the town an idea if our troop is participating.
.
Lyrics to the songs will be posted before the event.
