FIELD TRIP to PETCO on Monday, Nov. 3

Brownie Troop 2082 will be taking a field trip to PETCO (located in the Christmas Tree plaza on Route 9) on Monday night, Nov. 3 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Girls should meet in front of PETCO no later than 5:45 p.m. They should wear their Brownie vest.
Parents can drop off and pick up at PETCO.
This 60-minute workshop on pets is one of the 4 requirements for the Brownies to earn their Animals Try-It badge. (FYI: There is no school on Nov. 4 for Framingham Public School children due to election day! Thus, one of the reasons we picked this date.)

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PETCO FIELD TRIP: This field trip introduces simple concepts related to animal characteristics, animal habitats, and animal care. During this hands-on experience, Brownies will discover animals are a lot like people. They both need a healthy diet, a comfortable home, social interaction, exercise and play. Respect and responsibility lessons are reinforced throughout the tour.

We need a signed permission slip from a parent/guardian for your daughter to attend. The group is limited to what we registered for 16 girls and 3 adults. No siblings allowed. Permission slips must be presented or she can not participate.
Please let one of the leaders know, via e-mail or phone no later than Nov. 1

If your daughter cannot attend on Nov. 3. We will provide you with a list of suitable options for you and your daughter to do on your own, so she can still earn her Animals TRY-it!
