Special Theatre Program: Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse

On Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4 Wheelock Family Theatre in Boston in conjunction with the Eastern Massachusetts Girl Scout Council is offering a special theatre event featuring a performance of Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse.

SHOW SUMMARY: Look out! Here comes Lilly, barreling through life as the queen who likes everything! But when Lilly has something new (and purple and plastic) to show her classmates, and she just can’t wait until sharing time, she discovers that even queens must learn to share the spotlight. Children of every age will identify with the irrepressible Lilly, her best friends forever, Chester and Wilson, and the delights and dilemmas of their daily lives. Based on the books by Kevin Henkes, Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse is an entertaining peek through the mouse hole at families and friends just like yours.

The event takes place from 1:30 to 5:30 and costs $20 per person (leaders & adults have to pay too). The 3 p.m. show is about 90 minutes with an intermission.
The $20 price includes a premium seat, a pre-show drama workshop; post-show Q&A with members of the cast; study guide for Brownie troop leaders; and a Wheelock Family Theater Partner button good for one free admission per girl scout for a future performance.

Registration can be done individually or as a troop. FIRST, contact your leader to see if anyone from the troop is attending.

If no one from Brownie Troop 2082 is attending, you are still welcome to register individually with your daughter online at: http://www.girlscoutseasternmass.org/programs/mtCwheelockfamilytheaterlilly.htm

(There appears to be a rolling deadline for these events. Registration is first come, first serve.)
