Brownies Invited to Sing at the 16th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Friday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m.

The 16th Annual Framingham Holiday Tree Lighting will take place at Nevins Hall, Memorial Building (Town Hall) Friday, December 7.
The Girl Scouts of Framingham will sing on the steps of the hall from about 6:15 to 7 p.m. (when Santa arrives).
This is typically a very crowded - very hectic event.
Because of that, we are not organizing it as a Brownie troop 2082 official event;
but any Brownie from Troop 2082 that would like to participate can go with a parent and meet at the steps at 2082. Brownies must wear their vest (They should fit over their coat.).

Girl Scouts (including Brownies) should meet near the steps to the building about 6 p.m.
(At this time, none of the leaders are planning to attend. If that changes it will be posted here.)
Please bring a copy of the song sheets if your child can read it; if not PLEASE practice singing the songs with your daughter ahead of time.

This is the song list planned:

Pledge of Allegiance
This Little Light of Mine
Jingle Bells
Let It Snow
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Frosty the Snowman

In case Santa is late:
Jingle Bell Rock
Deck the Halls
We Wish You a Merry Christmas

When Santa arrives:
Santa Claus is Coming to Town

(The songs lyrics are posted underneath this posting, so you can print off. To print only that posting; click on the headline and it will give you just that one in its own window.)

After Santa arrives and the entire group of Girl Scouts finishes singing Santa Claus is Coming to Town, the Brownies will reunite with their family members and enjoy the rest of the night's family entertainment, and food in the hall.

You may also get a photo taken with Santa for FREE - but expect a long line.

If you think you will be attending, please let one of the leaders know.
