Participation Patches Awarded to Girls Today!

We handed out participation patches to the girls today. Some Brownies took home as many as 4 patches, but every girl earned at least 1 patch.
** All 16 girls earned the Investiture patch. It should be ironed on to the back of the vest. It is a large square patch with two girls in Brownie vests. It is an iron-on patch.
** 13 girls earned the roller skating participation patch. It is an iron-on patch for the back of the vest, too. (see photo of patch in an earlier post.)
** Girls, who were Brownies last year, earned the Early bird participation patch for registering for a second year of Brownies earlier this spring. It too is an iron-on patch for the back of the vest.
** Finally, 11 Brownies who attended the special science/voting workshop received their voting participation patches. (The science patches were handed out earlier.) The VOTING patch is for back of the vest. Unfortunately, it is NOT an iron-on patch. It was not available as an iron-on. The patch will need to be either sewed on or you can try using patch-attach glue (sold at craft stores) to glue (let glue dry first) & then iron it on. If you have any questions, please don't hestitate to contact any of us leaders.

See you at the next Brownie meeting on Monday, Nov. 24th!
