Museum of Science Sleepover UPDATE

This afternoon, we placed and paid for reservations for 14 of the 16 girls to attend the special Museum of Science sleepover in June 2009.
This is the BIG event for our Troop 2082 for our second grade brownies. It is a Mom & Me event on June 6. Mom & Me means that every girl attending could bring their mom (or an adult FEMALE relative/guardian 19 or older). YET, an adult is not required to attend for your child to go, as all 3 leaders will be attending. No siblings can attend. No males can attend.
This special Girl Scout night event, according to Eastern Massachusetts Council description, typically includes hands-on science activities, science demonstrations, an Omni show, a late night program, and tim to explore the museum.
FYI: Dinner is on your own that night (June 6) and there is a $5 per car parking fee for keeping a car overnight in the garage. We are checking to see if brown bagging will be allowed and if the food court at the Museum will be open.
We will be providing more details on this special event, as they become available from Council, as this event is sponsored by the Eastern Massachusetts Girl Scouts Council.
