March Coco Key Water Event SOLD OUT - 2 May Dates Added

I received notification today that the March 22 Coco Key Water Resort Girl Scout event is closed due to capacity limits.

Several parents had questions about this event and I received answers from Council last night at the Framingham Girl Scout Leader meeting.
While the March date is sold out, 2 May dates are still open -- MAY (2nd & 30th)
PRICE is the same $18 per person.
***
Answers to questions from Council:
1) This is a family event. Husbands & brothers are permitted.
2)There is no patch associated with this event, at this time. That could change.
3) There are no specific Girl Scout events planned for the event. Basically, the Scouts are getting a group rate and opening the event up to Scouts in Eastern Massachusetts and their families.
4) Registration is done individually and not as a troop. A credit card is required to register. Please, however, let a leader know if you register your daughter, as council may contact the leader on file if there is a cancellation or question with the event. Troop number is #72082.

To register for the May dates, visit: http://www.girlscoutseasternmass.org/programs/search.html?textfield=coco&agelevel=Any+Age&category=Any+Category&zip=Enter+Zip+for+Locations&date_st_month=&date_st_year=&image.x=61&image.y=8

E-mail me if you have any other questions, issues about registration, etc...

Girl Scout Night at the Circus with Troop 2082!

Five Brownies from Troop 2082 attended Girl Scout Night at the Ringling Bros. Circus on Friday night. They were - Becky, Bella, Erin, Madison & Talia. (Erin's friend Brianna from Troop 2241 in Holliston also joined our troop.)
Each Brownie attended a special animal care seminar featuring horses and Asia the elephant. The seminar was an exclusive for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Afterwards, the girls took part in a pre-show where they got to see the performers up close including a dog show, aerialists, clowns, and jugglers; get autographs; and try on very ornate and heavy circus costumes. Talia was featured on the Jumbotron during the pre-show with her red clown nose all the girls received. All the Brownies also received a special patch for the back of their vest featuring Bello the clown and a white tiger.
Despite our sky-high seats in the first half, the girls had a fabulous time!
