OPTIONAL: Girl Scout Night at CATS on April 15

One LAST OPTIONAL PROGRAM:

Broadway in Boston is holding a Girl Scout Night for CATS on Thursday, April 15 at the Colonial Theatre. Curtains rise at 7:30 p.m.

**Tickets are $27. (They are in the balcony).

The Brownie will be eligible for a Broadway Across America Patch for the back of their vest by attending the CATS show, participating in a pre-show event, a Colonial Theatre tour, and a group Girl Scout photo that night.
The pre-show event is a special meeting with the Animal Rescue League of Boston. scouts will talk about ways you can help care for your pet and get involved with the animal community in your own neighborhood.

Like the ballet program sent out earlier, this one is expected to fill up quickly.

PLEASE please let me know by Monday, March 8 if your daughter is interested; so I can decide if we can place an order. (There is the option with this event that individual Scouts can attend even if we don't have enough with the Troop (That is not always the case with most events).)

Thanks

OPTIONAL EVENT: Girl Scout Night at the Big Apple Circus on Friday Night, April 17th

I got an e-mail from the Big Apple Circus in NYC, which is putting up their big tent in Boston starting on April 4th. They are offering a special Girl Scout Discount!!!
*
On Friday, April 17 at the 6:30 p.m. show (this is the start of school vacation week), Brownies and their family members can get a discount ticket to the Circus at just $14 ($28 off the Mezzanine ticket price.)
THIS IS AN OPTIONAL EVENT FOR Brownies in Troop 2082.
A minimum of 15 tickets must be ordered to qualify for the $14 rate, so like the ballet event, I have opened this event up to other Framingham Girl Scouts.

***The Big Apple Circus also is offering a special Scout Meal/Patch(a minimum of 10 meals must be ordered at least by April 6 to qualify.) Cost is $7.50 per Scout (sibling) Adults do not qualify. Price includes a participation patch for the back of the vest, a hot dog, popcorn, and a juice pack.
*
Please e-mail me spetroni@rcn.com if your daughter and family would like to attend.
I need to know how many tickets total and if you are interested in the meal/patch add-on.

For the best seats, tickets should be ordered ASAP, so I'd like to close registration by April 1st, if not sooner.
E-mail me with any questions.
I have an e-mail into the circus about how payment should be coordinated.

OPTIONAL EVENT: Safari Scout Day at Roger Williams Zoo on Saturday, April 25

Girl Scouts of Rhode Island and Roger Williams Zoo in Providence are hosting a Scout Safari Day on Saturday, April 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This is an OPTIONAL event for members of Brownie Troop 2082.
Spend an adventurous day at this Providence, R.I., Zoo with fellow Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of all ages. Scouts can participate in interactive stations that will help you to complete a variety of badge requirements, while surrounded by a zoo full of fascinating animals. Meet special guest presenters, Zoo staff, and some very cool critters.
Cost: $12/Scout (includes admission and program fee; does not include lunch). Non-Scouts: $5/children, $10/adults (admission only). The $5 non-Scout admission means that siblings will not be alowed to participate in any of the special programs and interactive stations.

Pre-registration is required and payment is due upon registration.
Registration deadline is April 9.
There will be a late fee of $5 per Scout after that date. Sorry, no refunds. Please let a leader know if you register your daughter.

At this time, no leader is attending. So if your daughter is interested in attending, a parent or guardian must attend with them. Transportation is on your own. If a leader does decide to attend, we will let you know.

In previous years a participation patch (for the back of the vest) was included in the cost of admission for this special event. It is unclear, at this time, if a patch will be given this year.
Registration forms are available online at www.rwpzoo.org
